Morning at Loess Bluffs by Lynn Sprowl.
Fascinating to watch this migration of the snow geese. They leave the wetlands to nearby fields to feed, then return. They do this in the afternoon, also. A grand site to watch as a group will take off all at once. Their deafening honking can be heard a mile away. The "honk" is a nasal one syllable honk. Geese are probably the noisiest of all waterfowl.
