In 1882, Ashcroft was a town with a population of about 2000. 20 saloons. As quickly as it boomed, Ashcroft went bust. Deserted homestead. I loved wondering around the deserted ghost town of Ashcroft, Colorado. My mind tends to drift back to the olden days of the gold rush and the peoples of those times. The times were hard but they had big dreams..
