Can you imagine traveling through this park/wilderness in the1800's with the early trappers and frontiersmen? This waterfall is located along a gorgeous scenic drive through Firehole Canyon. Many small cascades dance off the jumbled cliffs, but the most spectacular of all is the beautiful 40 foot high Firehole Falls.
The falls can be viewed by pulling into a small parking area and walking to the other side of the Firehole Canyon Scenic Drive, which is a narrow one-way road with extremely limited parking. Firehole Falls is located along the Firehole Canyon Scenic Drive, just south of Madison.
